Tree change in Hackett Precinct

Spring 2013

Blackwood Park has announced the pre-construction release of 13 allotments in the new Hackett Precinct.

The new land release is expected to prove popular because of its stunning outlook over the adjacent tree-lined reserves and walking trails.

Adelaide Development Company CEO Ian Marker says the Hackett Precinct release has been moved forward because the neighbouring Fisher Precinct was close to selling out.

“You’re close to the edge of one of our picturesque gullies that links up with several walking trails leading down into the Sturt Gorge Recreation Park. It’s amazingly peaceful and already a very popular spot for existing residents,” Mr Marker says.

The 13 new allotments are all a substantial size with plenty of room to build a traditional home and still have space for a good-sized front and back yard. They range in size from 745 to 917 square metres.

The north facing aspect on most allotments captures the winter sun and the moderate slope allows scope for creative home design that encapsulates views over the adjoining reserve.

An extended settlement date is being offered on these allotments due to the land being released before completion of civil infrastructure works.
