Fisher Precinct
Spring 2012Blackwood Park’s latest release in the Fisher Precinct has demonstrated continued strong interest in premium land offerings in the estate. Already, SIX of the nine allotments recently released have been snapped up by eager buyers. Even more remarkable is that these sales have occurred before civil construction works have commenced on site.
Adelaide Development Company General Manager, Ian Marker, says potential purchasers have clearly done their homework and marked the Fisher Precinct as a prime location to build.
“This is the first significant release of land to the public in Node 2, which has heightened people’s interest,” Mr Marker says.
“More than 50 per cent of the 33 allotments in the Fisher Precinct will either be directly adjacent a reserve or have significant views over our network of reserves, so it’s perhaps no surprise that they’ve proven so popular.
“These allotments are also larger than average but still very reasonably priced considering their great location and outlook.”
The average allotment size for the latest release is 1096 square metres, with prices for the first 9 allotments ranging from $259,000 to $330,000. Mr Marker says in recent times it has been unusual for Blackwood Park allotments to be made available as a pre-release, but the decision to adopt this approach had been well received.
“We had certainly detected a high level of buyer interest in the Fisher Precinct. The roads may not yet be completed, but potential purchasers have clearly taken the time to scope out the precinct and discover how stunning the views are across the tree-lined valley and reserves,” he says.
“Purchasing when civil works are just getting underway has the added advantage of getting an extended settlement period and allows more time to plan your dream home.”
“It also pays to register with Blackwood Park to receive regular land release updates and be the first to find out about upcoming releases.”
