Oak Tree Adventure Play Space Now Open

A new play space has opened in Blackwood Park, designed for kids with a sense of adventure and parents who don’t mind their children getting a little dirty.
Constructed with natural materials, it’s all about adventure and imagination.
It’s also just a short walk down to the lake and direct access to the extensive network of walking trails. The opening of the play space follows the opening of the nearby X-Terrain Park, which includes a fitness circuit with exercise stations so you can create your own workout.
Nestled in the gully reserve between Gartrell Boulevard, Fergusson Avenue and Meridian, the Oak Tree Adventure Play Space offers plenty of scope for climbing, running, digging and swinging. For the best access, enter from Symon Crescent in Meridian.
